Job summary

Allied Universal in Eden Prairie, MN seeks a Security Officer Full Time to safeguard clients across healthcare locations. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, maintain a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and use technology to document activity.

The role features daytime shifts, a pay rate of $22.95 per hour, and a focus on professional communication, incident response, and adherence to site protocols.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
