Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time patrol position in Minneapolis, MN. You will safeguard clients across industries, primarily in healthcare settings, with a focus on customer service, visibility, and incident response.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Pay is $21.60 per hour, with afternoon shifts Sunday through Wednesday through Sunday.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and verify credentials as required.
• Document observations and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.
