Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in New York, NY to protect campuses and facilities. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, and providing courteous customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

You will respond to incidents and alarms with a calm, professional approach, while following established procedures. A valid driver’s license is required; CPR is preferred and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while following site-specific procedures and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, grounds, parking and perimeter areas; report hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and per established protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and campus procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate with site leadership.
