Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local law.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff and visitors per campus policies and safety procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, classrooms, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity and maintenance concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports per site requirements.
