Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of educational facilities, parking areas, building perimeters, and grounds.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and provide directions and assistance.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and communicate with leadership.
