Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Mobile Patrol Driver in Philadelphia, PA. You will serve clients across campuses, monitor areas, conduct rounds, and remain visible to deter security incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time driving role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate from assigned education locations; training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an education location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public resources as directed by post orders.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems, assist with visitor guidance and/or badge verification where required, and report suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare written and/or electronic reports, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate key information during shift turnovers to support continuity of operations.
