Qualifications

• B.A. degree in related field with 3-4 years law enforcement experience.
• 2 years supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of state statutes and local ordinances.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to perform the duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Investigates complaints and solves crimes; informs students, faculty and staff of safety rules and regulations.
• Serves as second in command in the absence of the Director of Security.
• Supervises security operations at satellite locations as assigned.
• Reviews incident reports and forwards required reports to Director of Security.
• Enforces security policies and procedures for the district and college.
