Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services in Santa Barbara, CA, is seeking a Security Guard to protect the campus, residents, staff and vehicles during the security shift.

You will respond to emergencies, patrol buildings and grounds, secure doors, monitor equipment, and write incident reports. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2 years in security, and a valid CA security license, with strong English communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 2 years security or related experience.
• Valid California Security License (CA candidates).

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and emergencies on campus.
• Patrol buildings and grounds and secure exterior doors.
• Monitor security equipment and CCTV as applicable.
• Write and distribute incident reports for all occurrences.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access and enforce campus safety policies.
