Job summary

Gateway Church seeks a Safety Training Lead to develop and deliver training for campus safety teams, officers, and contractors. You will coordinate de-escalation, emergency response, medical basics, and campus-specific safety protocols.

You will credential trainers, track licensing and certifications, and partner with Safety Services and Operations leads to align with schedules and needs.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years security/training experience.
• Current Level IV Texas Private Security License required or obtainable on hire.

Responsibilities

• Owns the training curriculum for the Safety Services Team.
• Coordinates de-escalation, emergency response, medical, active threat training.
• Onboards new team members and tracks certifications.
• Plans drills and after-action reviews with campuses.
• Maintains equipment and training records across sites.
• Supports campuses and pastors with safety training.
