Job summary

Gateway Church is seeking a Safety Operations Lead to own our safety technology across campuses and manage emergency readiness. You will supervise the GSOC, coordinate access control, cameras, alarms, dispatch, and mass notification systems, and ensure ongoing operation and improvements.

You will develop safety policies, maintain incident data, and work with IT, Facilities, and Training to align plans and drills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in security systems, emergency management, or related technical field required.
• Level IV Texas Private Security License required or obtainable upon hire.
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in emergency management or security systems preferred.
• Prior church/multi-site/large-venue experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns safety technology and systems from implementation to operation across campuses.
• Administers system configuration, user access, credentialing, and permissions.
• Maintains and troubleshoots safety systems; coordinates vendor repairs, upgrades, and installations.
• Develops and maintains Safety Services policies and emergency response plans.
• Maintains incident data, analyzes trends, and prepares audit reports.
• Partners with IT and Facilities on alignment and access decisions.
• Participates in on-call rotations and after-hours alarm responses.
• Supports Serve Team recruitment and development.
