Job summary

• High School diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively; fluent English in writing and speaking.
• Valid NYS Security Guard license and Fire Guard certificate or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license; able to work varied shifts including nights.

Responsibilities

• Periodically tour buildings, check doors/windows/gates for security.
• Document access concerns and coordinate with departments for repairs.
• Maintain records of tasks and incidents per protocol.
• Respond to alarms, health emergencies, and potential policy violations.
• Assist campus community and visitors with directions and safety information.
