University of Findlay is seeking a part-time, non-benefited security officer to support the safety and security department. Under supervision, you will cover shifts, patrol the main campus, housing areas, and parking lots, respond to emergencies, and assist with on-campus operations while upholding campus regulations.

This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a readiness to work flexible hours including on-call shifts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma.
• Six months of work experience in security and/or law enforcement preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Aufgaben

• Open and secure facilities per the daily schedule.
• Patrol main campus facilities and grounds.
• Patrol student housing and special housing areas.
• Monitor boiler rooms and call for maintenance after hours if needed.
• Respond to emergencies including fire, medical, and criminal incidents.
• Patrol parking lots and enforce campus parking regulations.
