Job summary

Upper Moreland Township School District is seeking a Safety & Security Monitor for the Upper Moreland High School campus. The role is to ensure a calm, secure environment, monitor entrances, and support students and staff in safety procedures.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in security or law enforcement. The role operates as a full-time, hourly non-exempt staff member, reporting to the Safety & Security Coordinator and supporting campus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred coursework or training in security or related field.
• Three years of work in security, law enforcement, or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure school areas to prevent unauthorized entry and incidents.
• Engage with students to promote safety and adherence to school rules.
• Complete required security reports and assist administration as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with authorities when necessary.
