Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Safety & Security/School Marshal to provide day-to-day security at the Administration Bldg and respond to active threat incidents. You will patrol the campus, assist during drop-off/pick-up, and coordinate with district staff to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements include a preferred Bachelor’s degree, five years’ related experience, a Texas driver’s license, a Texas License to Carry, and School Marshal training or equivalent. L3 clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related public safety coursework accepted as substitute.
• Five years of experience in law enforcement, emergency management, or school safety.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and Texas License to Carry required.
• L3 Psychological Clearance and School Marshal course completion required.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, codes, and emergency planning.

Responsibilities

• Respond to active threat incidents and protect students, staff, and visitors.
• Patrol campus visibility during classes, lunch, and drop-off/pick-up.
• Conduct exterior door sweeps and verify locks and functionality.
• Brief Safety and Security Coordinator on issues, coordinate with district staff.
• Promote a safe environment; perform safety inspections at the campus.
• Maintain firearms proficiency as required; serve on the Emergency Planning Team.
• Drive a security vehicle when assigned and support drills and exercises.
• Act as liaison with law enforcement, fire/EMS and other agencies during incidents.
• Complete incident reports accurately and promptly; ensure confidentiality.
