Job summary

Bridgewater State University’s Sexual Violence Advocacy and Support Center seeks a Work Study Outreach Educator and Events Coordinator to raise campus awareness about violence prevention and to deliver high-quality trainings.

The role includes coordinating campaigns, resource tables, and working with campus groups to schedule and present prevention programs, while providing advocacy to survivors seeking support and resources.

Qualifications

• Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.
• Must have Work Study award in your financial aid package.
• Preferred Qualifications: Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice or Communications majors.

Responsibilities

• Increase visibility of the SVASC on campus and provide violence prevention education to the campus community.
• Coordinate and deliver SVASC’s high-quality prevention trainings, awareness events, and annual campaigns.
• Coordinate resource tables and collaborate with campus groups to book and deliver trainings.
• Provide advocacy to survivors seeking support and resources from the SVAS Center.
