Job summary

Bridgewater State University is seeking a Work Study Event Production Office Assistant to support event management and production. You will assist with processing requests, managing staff assignments, and coordinating with the technical team for optimal event setup.

The ideal candidate is an organized and detail-oriented undergraduate student familiar with event production tools. The role offers practical experience in a fast-paced environment, providing a valuable addition to your academic journey.

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMS, Google Suite, MS Outlook, and/or MS Office.
• Experience with event production (lighting, sound, audio/visual) is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Processing incoming requests from BSU event planners for the PALS area.
• Tracking and communicating changes in University events to PALS staff.
• Assisting in assigning appropriate student staff to University events.
• Consulting with the Auditorium Technical Director to assign appropriate lighting and sound equipment to individual events.
• Participating in event support on occasion as part of training/team building.

Skills

Organized and detail oriented

Education

Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits
