Job summary

Worcester State University is hiring a part-time SAVE Social Media Assistant to support outreach and marketing for prevention and education programs. The role reports to Sarah Valois and is based on the student's class schedule, with an hourly rate of $15 and about 4–5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Comfort with sensitive topics related to sexual and intimate partner violence.
• Experience in relevant content fields (Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Marketing/Communication preferred).
• Experience in social media marketing and content creation.
• Flexible schedule to attend and promote education and prevention programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups.
• Experience in advocacy, peer education, or community outreach preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

AVERAGE HOURS PER WEEK: 4-5
