Position Information

Title: Work Study Student Facility Coordinator

BSU’s Athletics Department provides inclusive intercollegiate athletics and recreational programs. We develop leaders, encourage community engagement, and strengthen the overall social fabric of the university.

The Student Facility Coordinator will provide facility support and student worker assistance of various athletic and recreation facilities during the year.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Provide security and check IDs upon entrance to facility
• Conduct building rounds
• Perform other duties as assigned

The Student Facility Coordinator must be able to work during various hours of the day such as early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.
• Must have Work Study award in your financial aid package

Preferred Qualifications

• Firm knowledge of operational procedures
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with difficult people and stressful situations
• First Aid, CPR and AED training certification required (training provided)

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift equipment minimum of 25 lbs.
