Job summary

Duncaster Inc. is seeking a Campus Safety Officer for the Bloomfield, CT campus. The role involves being the first responder to emergencies, ensuring security of residents and facilities, and performing routine safety tasks on a 8:00am–4:30pm schedule.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and a valid Class D driver's license. The position offers full-time hours and a $20.00/hour wage with comprehensive benefits on a life plan campus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid Class D driver's license with no major violations or restrictions.
• Must be able to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Must be able to handle emergency situations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Be the first responder to emergencies and problems in the facility.
• Perform two campus safety security roundings per shift and document in security software.
• Ensure facility lockdown and security of doors and windows as scheduled.
• Respond to emergencies and take appropriate action.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and address work orders.
