Job summary

Milton Academy is seeking a Campus Safety Officer to safeguard students, faculty and staff across Milton campus, including events and athletic competitions. You will patrol, document incidents and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.

This per diem, non-exempt role requires excellent communication, observation skills and the ability to respond to emergencies. Milton will provide training including CPR/AED and drivers’ education as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent; demonstrates English language communication, reading comprehension and basic math skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass insurance and driving record checks.
• Preferred: College degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot and mobile security patrols of campus property and buildings.
• Respond to calls for service, lockouts, and escorts in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Monitor parking enforcement and direct traffic during high-volume periods.
• Monitor access control systems and CCTV.
