Job summary

Yosemite Community College District seeks a Director of Campus Safety to oversee district-wide safety, compliance, and emergency management from Central Services. You will plan, direct, and coordinate safety programs, ensuring robust preparedness and adherence to policies across all campuses.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and substantial experience in campus safety or emergency management, with the ability to work with law enforcement and college leadership to maintain a secure learning

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management).
• Experience: Five years of directly related experience; Pattern II requires ten years of law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct district campus safety operations, compliance, and emergency management.
• Coordinate with local/state law enforcement and other college divisions to ensure safety across district facilities.
• Develop and maintain emergency plans, safety programs, and reporting in line with regulations.
