Job summary

San Mateo County Community College District is seeking a Director of Risk Management, Security and Emergency Operations to lead district-wide programs including security, health and safety, fire safety, emergency management and Clery compliance. The role serves as primary safety officer for OSHA compliance and liaison with law enforcement.

The position oversees budget planning, staff management, and collaboration with executive management to align security initiatives with district goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field as listed.
• Five years of increasing responsibility in security services, public safety, emergency management, risk management, or related field.
• Experience working with community, government, and educational leaders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a California Driver's License and First-Aid/CPR certifications.
