Qualifications

• Ability to use two-way radio for official communications.

• Ability to clearly articulate questions, instructions and information.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls with proper telephone etiquette and dispatch units.
• Dispatch campus safety officers and coordinate with responders.
• Notify emergency services and provide exact location.
• Ensure communications equipment is functioning and report issues.
• Monitor CCTV and report inappropriate activity to officers.
• Develop and issue emergency campus-wide alerts when required.
