Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care on designated daily shifts. You will work under supervision and collaborate with the healthcare team to address challenges and ensure positive patient outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing and NC RN license (or Compact state), along with BLS CPR certification. One year of RN experience with a clinical specialty is required; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 1 year RN experience with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in conducting patient assessments, examinations, and treatments on a day-to-day basis.
• Supports analysis of patient data to guide medical decisions and interventions.
• Helps implement prescribed medical interventions with protocol adherence and patient safety in mind.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate communication and coordination of care.
• Seeks guidance from senior medical professionals on complex patient situations to ensure optimal care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
