Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) per diem to deliver high-quality patient care on designated daily shifts. You will work under supervision, collaborating with the healthcare team to support assessments, treatments, and care plans that drive positive outcomes.

Required is an RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state, with 1 year of RN experience in a clinical specialty and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
Required: BLS (CPR) certification (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider).

Responsibilities

Assists in patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
Supports analysis of patient data to guide medical decisions and interventions.
Helps implement prescribed interventions to ensure adherence to protocols and patient safety.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
Seeks guidance from senior professionals on complex patient situations to ensure optimal care.
