Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem shifts to provide high-quality patient care under supervision and collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes. In this role you will assist with assessments, administer treatments per protocols, analyze patient data to guide decisions, and seek guidance from senior clinicians on complex cases.

A North Carolina RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
• RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting patient assessments, examinations, and treatments on a day-to-day basis.
• Analyze patient data to guide medical decisions, treatment plans and interventions.
• Help implement prescribed medical interventions with adherence to protocols for patient safety.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Seek guidance from senior medical professionals on complex patient situations to ensure optimal care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
