Barnes & Noble College is seeking Campus Retail Associates to provide superior customer service and support store leaders in retail operations. You will contribute to a positive customer experience and help the store run smoothly on campus.

The role emphasizes greeting customers, processing transactions, shelving, and maintaining a clean, organized space. Flexible scheduling supports on-campus needs and academic calendars.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a retail setting.
• Basic math, keyboarding and data entry skills.
• Flexible availability during the academic year including peak periods.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Greet customers and ensure a positive and helpful experience throughout their visit.
• Support store operations including operating equipment and cash register and ensuring speed of service.
• Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning and organizing products or space within the store.
• Temporary positions require availability to work weekly for up to 90 days with occasional weekends and flexible scheduling for opening, midday, or closing shifts.
• Routine housekeeping such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal.
