LidsU operates within The COOP at Harvard and MIT campuses, delivering campus retail experiences and licensed products to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors. The COOP stores require a welcoming, capable team member who can assist customers, manage transactions, and support campus-specific programs.

This part-time role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork in a dynamic campus environment, with flexible hours to fit orientation, semester starts, and events.

Qualifications

• Retail, hospitality, bookstore, campus, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable engaging a broad range of customers.
• Willingness to learn multiple product categories, systems, and operating procedures.
• Basic math, communication, keyboarding, and organizational skills.
• Must meet the minimum age and scheduling requirements established for the position and location.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, alumni, members, visitors, and fans.
• Learn the products, services, store layout, and Harvard or MIT location campus-specific needs.
• Offer informed recommendations and resolve routine questions or connect customers with the appropriate team member.
• Support The COOP membership experience and accurately apply authorized school-, store-, or customer-specific programs, discounts, and tenders.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using approved payment and tender procedures.
• Replenish, organize, price, recover, clean, and merchandise selling and back-of-house areas.
• Support receiving, product counts, transfers, fulfillment, returns, special orders, and event setup as assigned.
• Follow LidsU policies for safety, asset protection, customer information, inventory, and store operations.
