Job summary

Grand Canyon Education, Inc. is seeking a Student Worker Intern to support CHSS recruitment activities at Grand Canyon University's campus.

You will help promote CHSS programs through events, campus visits, and presentations, while sharing an authentic student experience with prospective students and families. The role requires strong Microsoft 365 skills, solid communication, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Local Phoenix area students year-round preferred and available for breaks.
• Experience in the specific college being hired for is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) and University supported programs.
• Organized, task-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain relationships through effective interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications, strong English language skills, and clear stakeholder communications.
• Good attention to detail, analytical and networking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in high-volume, high-demand environment with changing priorities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn and deliver program-specific information for CHSS recruitment.
• Deliver content through presentations for admissions activities (Discover GCU, GCU Day, GCU Live).
• Assist staff with content on organized campus tours for students, families, and school personnel.
• Provide program information to prospective students/families via calls, webinars, social media, and other formats.
• Record and input notes to recruiting systems to track efforts.
• Share knowledge with other student workers across departments.
• Coordinate with supervisor and adapt plans for evenings and weekends.
• Work with provided equipment like laptop, CRM, Zoom, and Office 365.
