Job summary

Aprio seeks a campus recruiting professional to manage full-cycle intern recruitment across Tax, Audit, Advisory, Information Assurance, and IT teams. You will partner with college career services, faculty, and campus stakeholders to build strong pipelines and execute on-campus events and interviews.

The role requires 1–2 years of campus recruiting or public accounting experience, excellent communication, and travel up to 16 weeks per year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR practices is a plus.
  • Results-focused and deadline-driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office and ATS.
  • Proven project management capabilities: planning, prioritizing, and delivering with accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel up to 16 weeks/year (Mon-Thu).
  • Experience planning large-scale events with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience planning and leading recruiting and hire events.
  • Ability to manage high-volume recruitment and branding campaigns.
  • Able to engage with Aprio Partners, faculty, and students.

Job description

  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting for all intern positions across Tax, Audit, Advisory, Information Assurance, and Information Technology teams.
  • Communicate expectations to college recruiting teams for assigned campuses.
  • Establish partnerships with department leaders across offices, IAS, and IT teams.
  • Anticipate organizational talent needs and develop an active candidate pipeline for Northeast offices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with college career services departments, faculty, and internal campus stakeholders.
  • Plan and attend campus recruiting events, including career fairs, socials, presentations, and on-campus interviews.
  • Travel to strategic campuses throughout the year, with heavy attendance January–March and August–October.
  • Assist with planning, management, and execution of early talent programs.
  • Support the recruiting team with events as needed.
  • Manage the intern performance review process.
  • Assist with and attend intern activities, including volunteer activities, happy hours, and team-building events.
  • Assist with management and execution of the internship program in Southeast offices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR practices is a plus.
  • Results-focused, continually seeking to exceed expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Proven excellence in project management skills: prioritizing workload, planning and organizing, demonstrating high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and professional delivery.
  • Willingness and ability to travel daily (Monday-Thursday) up to 16 weeks a year.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large scale events with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience or potential to plan, direct, and lead recruiting and new hire events.
  • Strong capacity for successfully working with high volume recruitment and branding campaigns.
  • Ability to engage with and build relationships with Aprio Partners, college faculty members, and college students.
  • Previous professional service experience is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of campus recruiting experience or public accounting experience.
