Job summary

The University of North Georgia is seeking a Campus Recreation and Wellness Student Facility Staff - Institutional Student Worker to support facility operations and front-line service at the Rec Center.

You will assist Facility Supervisors, maintain CPR/First Aid/AED certifications, and help ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment while balancing a student schedule. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits and maintain a 2.50 GPA.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at UNG in at least 6 credits.
• Must hold CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (or obtain within 30 days).
• Minimum 2.50 GPA and continued enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out facility operations tasks during shifts.
• Maintain CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
• Provide excellent customer service and welcoming environment.
• Follow policies; address issues and refer to Supervisor when needed.
• Communicate urgent needs or safety concerns to Supervisor on shift.
• Maintain cleanliness; restock supplies; keep spaces organized.
• Assist with equipment checkout and returns; log items.
• Report incidents or policy violations to Supervisor on shift.
• Must be available to work at least 3 shifts/week.
• Other duties as assigned.
