Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Wellness & Recreation Center Student Assistant welcomes customers and is knowledgeable about the Wellness & Recreation Center and its programs, controls access to the facility and ensures both the safety of patrons and the cleanliness of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Fill‑in for staff as necessary as a Fitness Attendant or Member Services representative
• Present overview of areas within Wellness and Recreation at campus events
• Market operations to currently enrolled students
• Create promotional pieces for WRC

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required
• Must be enrolled a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College
• Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment
• Must be in good standing with Georgia Gwinnett College and maintain good standing for the duration of employment
• Good time management, written, and verbal skills
• Must have current or be willing to complete Standard First Aid Training
• Must have current or be willing to complete CPR Certification
• Must have current or be willing to complete Blood Borne Pathogen Training
