UC Irvine Police Department seeks Public Safety Responders to monitor, observe, and report safety conditions. The role includes patrols, responding to incidents, escorts, and coordinating with emergency responders across UC Irvine Health sites in Irvine, Orange, Fountain Valley and surrounding areas.

Applicants must be fluent in English, have a high school diploma, a valid CA driver’s license and a BSIS Security Guard license, plus one year of public-facing experience.

Qualificações

• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform sustained patrols and long stationary posts.
• Experience with video surveillance and monitoring.
• Completion of security training or certification within 6 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California Driver's License and BSIS Security Guard License.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor campus and respond to safety concerns.
• Patrol designated areas and maintain situational awareness.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with responders.
• Provide escorts for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Write detailed incident reports and document findings.
• Assist with security systems, cameras, and alarms.
