Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma and three (3) years of related work experience.
• Certification by the Peace Officer Standards and Training Council for the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus on foot and in a vehicle to deter crime and enforce policies.
• Respond to calls for service from students, faculty, staff and visitors and provide assistance in emergencies and non-emergencies.
• Assist the supervisor in training and directing work of personnel and inspect uniforms and equipment.
• Provide security for campus events and activities and manage doors and traffic when needed.
• Investigate crimes and traffic incidents; gather evidence and interview witnesses and suspects; prepare reports.
• Prepare a variety of incident and other reports and review subordinate reports.
