Job Summary
Serve as a command-level officer with responsibility for directing and managing law enforcement operations for an assigned division, shift, or specialized unit of the university's police/public safety department. Provide leadership in patrol, investigations, emergency response, and community policing to ensure a safe and secure campus environment. Act as the commanding officer in the absence of higher-level leadership.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience, including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience. Certification by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Council.
Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience.
