Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of eight years of increasingly responsible law enforcement experience.
• Some experience in law enforcement in an educational setting preferred.
• Current valid driver's license with a responsible driving record.
• Must meet qualifications for appointment to Special Police Officer for State of Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and evaluation to assigned staff.
• Work within the approved departmental budget.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned staff.
• Establish goals and objectives for employees consistent with CCBC's mission.
• Work unsupervised when necessary and handle emergency situations.
• Plan, coordinate, organize and direct the activities of assigned personnel.
• Ensure campus is in compliance with laws, policies and regulations.
• Maintain staffing levels and approve absences.
