Job summary

Towson University is seeking a Campus Projects Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and implement small construction, renovation, and campus-improvement projects across the university. This role involves developing scopes, coordinating internal trades and external contractors, and managing budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting university standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of related work experience.
• General construction knowledge and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement small construction, renovation, repair, deferred maintenance, and campus improvement projects.
• Meet with campus departments to identify project needs and communicate schedules and status.
• Coordinate university shops, maintenance personnel, consultants, contractors, and vendors; manage budgets and documentation.
• Develop project cost estimates and budgets; track expenditures and invoices; monitor funding.
• Prepare project documentation and coordinate purchasing; maintain project files and closeout documents.
• Perform site visits to monitor progress, verify quality, and ensure safety and compliance.
