Job summary

Communities In Schools of Central Texas is hiring a full-time Program Manager to lead CIS services at Marshall Middle School in Austin, TX. As the site-based leader, you’ll work with school administrators to integrate CIS programming with school activities and support students, families, and parents to overcome barriers to success.

You will supervise staff, AmeriCorps members, interns, and volunteers, and oversee program design, data management, and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field; MSW degree preferred.
• Middle School experience.
• Demonstrated English/Spanish speaking skills.
• Experience with crisis intervention, assessments, and referrals.
• Group counseling and case management experience.
• Experience collaborating with school personnel, families and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead CIS services at Marshall Middle School and integrate CIS programming with school activities.
• Manage campus program design, data management and evaluation.
• Supervise staff, AmeriCorps members, interns and volunteers.
