Job summary

Hillel of Sonoma County is seeking a Program Associate to shape Jewish student life at Sonoma State University and SRJC. In this full-time role, you’ll lead program logistics, support student leaders, and help grow a community of donors to sustain Sonoma programming.

The position offers a collaborative environment, on-site campus presence, and opportunities to develop leadership skills through Hillel International programs. Salary ranges align with nonprofit sector standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in programming, event planning, student engagement, and fundraising
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead student engagement initiatives and support leadership development
• Coordinate events, logistics, vendors, and food orders for Shabbat and campus programs
• Build relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community partners
• Manage Sonoma Hillel's social media calendar and newsletters
• Support development and fundraising efforts, donor stewardship, and campaigns
