Job summary

Repair the World Bay Area is seeking a Senior Program Associate to support planning and facilitation of meaningful Jewish service learning programs for young adults and the broader Bay Area community. The Senior Associate will facilitate Repair’s Service Corps, a time-bound stipended program with weekly Jewish learning and partner service.

The successful candidate will be an aspiring experiential Jewish educator, community builder, flexible self-starter and strong facilitator.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating Jewish learning and/or service experiences for youth, families, or adults.
• Ability to plan and execute community programs from concept to implementation.
• Comfort using standard technology tools and learning new systems (Salesforce, Monday, Slack, etc.).
• Strong communication, organization and self-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and oversee operations of 3–4 cohorts of Corps Members yearly.
• Identify, build, and sustain relationships with local Jewish organizations and service partners for Corps placements.
• Coordinate and facilitate learning for Corps Members about local social issues, Jewish values, and program skills.
• Plan and facilitate 2–5 Jewish service learning programs monthly.
