Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a Print Production Assistant to support Triton Print’s operations on campus. This full‑time, onsite role assists in producing and distributing printed materials across the UC campus and to local partners.

The position emphasizes mechanical tasks, material handling, and timely delivery, with a 100% appointment at Days, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. A California driver’s license is required and safety/compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
• Able to lift 20–50 lbs.
• Must be mechanically inclined and safety‑minded.
• Capable of following precise instructions and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate binding, laminating and padding equipment to prepare printed materials.
• Fold, collate and assemble printed products to meet quality standards.
• Deliver print orders and supplies using University vehicles and safe handling procedures.
• Coordinate with the TPDM Customer Service team to ensure timely delivery of print jobs.
