Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools seeks a Principal on Assignment to provide temporary or ongoing campus leadership at a high-need LTS campus. You will report to the superintendent and guide instructional programs, staff performance, and operations to improve student outcomes.

You will supervise campus staff, manage budgets, and partner with district leaders to ensure safety, culture, and compliant operations while driving district goals and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, educational administration, or a related field.
• Current Principal Certification is required.
• Five years of successful teaching experience and five years of school administration.
• Experience in charter school operations and turnaround leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned campus in alignment with district policies and values.
• Oversee budget, staffing, safety, and campus operations.
• Set performance goals and monitor student achievement with data.
• Hire, coach, and retain strong staff; conduct evaluations.
• Ensure effective campus communications with families and community.
