Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring for full time and part time PREP COOK positions at Mills College in Oakland. You will prepare food and serve customers, following recipes and production plans, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following recipes and production requirements.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste logs.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short prep time.
• Serves customers at multiple stations in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Follows approved food recipes and portion control.
• Resolves customer concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
