Job summary

The role requires TCOLE licensure, certifications and continuous training, plus the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current permanent Peace Officer License from TCOLE is required.
• Successful completion of field training program.
• Certifications and training requirements must be completed within designated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with students, staff and visitors to enhance safety and community engagement.
• Patrol campus and surrounding areas to identify safety concerns and enforce laws.
• Investigate crimes, secure scenes, collect evidence and prepare reports.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a visible security presence.
• Document actions and incidents accurately, following department standards.
