Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency including keyboarding, data entry, data retrieval, and working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Ability to actively listen to requests for service via telephone and radio; take appropriate action per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently obtains and records all pertinent information by priority and uses caller management techniques.
• Performs data entry and files TCIC/NCIC/NCTCIC records, Teletypes, Warnings, and Field Contact Cards.
• Maintains proper radio etiquette while broadcasting information to officers and monitors radio channels.
• Demonstrates initiative and promotes service and process improvements; ensures compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Regularly engages with the community to develop positive public/police relationships.
• Shows honesty, fairness, and ethical conduct; delivers courteous and accurate service.
• Works as part of a team and shows professional demeanor; resolves conflicts constructively.
• Aims for optimal resource utilization and outcome, and exercises sound judgment.
