Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; combination of education and experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Ten years of sworn law enforcement experience.
• Current Missouri POST Class A Peace Officer License or ability to obtain it.
• Completion of NIMS/ICS IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, and IS-800, or completion within six months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Directs patrol operations to ensure continuous, effective police coverage across campus properties and shifts.
• Supervises four Lieutenants; oversees staffing, scheduling, overtime, and discipline.
• Oversees Special Events security planning, staffing, and after-action reviews for university events and ceremonies.
• Ensures CALEA accreditation standards are met and maintains department policies and procedures.
