Qualifications

• 5 years plumbing and general maintenance experience in a school or similar environment.
• Willingness to expand knowledge of campus systems, fixtures, materials.
• Ability to install, maintain and repair plumbing fixtures and components.
• Ability to read and comprehend plans and blueprints for plumbing work.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a HS diploma.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain/repair/replace plumbing fixtures and lines campus-wide.
• Prepare preventative maintenance schedule for plumbing fixtures and equipment.
• Inspect and maintain laundry equipment (washers/dryers).
• Inspect and maintain hot/cold distribution lines, septic lift stations, fuel lines, and gas piping; repair leaks.
• Inspect fire sprinkler system boosters and document compliance.
• Perform tasks for pool equipment and piping; assist HVAC with boilers and distribution equipment.
