Job summary

The California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for a Student Assistant, Peer Mentor/Advocate in the YOURS AANHPI program. This part-time, on-campus role supports mentoring, outreach, and cultural programming to help CSUSB students thrive and build a sense of belonging.

Responsibilities include peer mentoring, proactive outreach, connecting students to advising and campus resources, and assisting with program operations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; read and write English.
• Students must be enrolled as CSUSB students with minimum GPA and enrollment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Peer Mentoring and Student Support: develop welcoming, supportive mentoring relationships with YOURS students and assist with appointments and drop-in hours.
• Academic and Career Success: outreach to students, monitor progress, connect to advising, tutoring and career resources.
• Programs, Workshops, and Community Building: assist in planning and evaluating YOURS workshops and events, foster inclusive spaces.
