Job summary

The University of La Verne invites applications for a Parking and Transportation Coordinator. This on-site role serves as the front-line support for the Campus Safety and Transportation Department, handling parking permits, fleet scheduling, and driver authorizations while ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent service to the campus community.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of administrative experience, a valid CA driver license, and strong organizational and communication skills

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in organization, business administration, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of administrative or office support experience.
• Customer-facing experience required.
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate issuing and tracking of parking permits and campus parking permits.
• Manage parking enforcement, responses to inquiries, and appeals.
• Plan and manage parking logistics for campus events and traffic plans.
• Oversee university fleet scheduling, repairs, DMV paperwork, and driver authorizations.
• Provide high-quality customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain compliance with university policies and transportation regulations.
