Job summary

Augusta University is seeking an Enforcement Officer 1 to monitor and patrol parking areas, issue citations, and guide drivers to available spaces.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and experience in parking operations is preferred; strong communication and integrity are essential.

Pay ranges from $15.00/hour to $16.81/hour with full-time benefits and background checks as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas for compliance with parking rules and regulations; issue warnings and/or citations as necessary using hand-held ticket writer; use license plate recognition where applicable.
• Operate and re-supply parking kiosks, gate arms, and other parking equipment; perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment with vendor support.
• Support special events and campus activities; place cones, barricades, and signage; provide traffic guidance per event plans.
• Install vehicle immobilization equipment; respond to reserved parking violations; assist in towing coordination.
• Disseminate parking information to students, employees, patients, and visitors; prepare daily reports on lot conditions and utilization.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
